Page 14 MFL Oustanding Year 7 This term, the Modern foreign Languages department would like to congratulate the Year 7 cohort for their work and effort in language lessons. Year 7 have had a very strong beginning to the academic year that has been demonstrated in their outstanding progress made. Students have particularly excelled in developing their speaking skills and are now able to introduce themselves and describe the things they like and don’t like. Here are a few examples of amazing work completed. Keep it up! We’ve got this! French Pen Friends 2020 For the second year running, we are very excited to write to our French pen friends in Collège Mermoz in Gien, a few miles from Orléans . Some of our Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 have written amazing letters about where they live, their hobbies, their personality, people they admire or what they want to do in the future. We will be eagerly waiting for their answers especially this year we cannot go abroad and this will be a fantastic way to discover French culture. A bientôt les correspondants !
