Our Students' Next Steps Page 6 We are so very proud of the Year 13 community of students that have just left us. Despite a disrupted year in many respects, so many of them have gone on to secure places at top colleges and universities. I'mstudying a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at theUniversity of Bath. The challenges of online learning are certainly there but being able to live on campus and get to know my housemates has helped with feeling engaged in the new community I'm now a part of. I've also been able to go out and explore the city as well as engaging with sport on campus. The unit I'm most looking forward to is the psychology and just generally being able to further my learning in a field I'm really interested in. Sam Eaton I’m studying a BA in Geography at the University of Oxford. Oxford terms are shorter than at most other universities, so start slightly later, and we only had a few days upon arriving before lectures and tutorials (small classes for essay discussion) started – which means the last few days have been a bit of a whirlwind trying to get used to a new city, new course, new people and a new way of working all at the same time! My college and the university in general are still adjusting to having students back and whilst there are definitely teething problems (the wifi is, without fail, totally awful) with online classes the workload isn’t overwhelming... yet. Everyone’s nice and friendly which definitely helps, even the people from Eton!
