KEVICC Courier Winter 2021 Lockdown
Our Wellbeing We asked our staff to let us know how they've been looking after their physical andmental health during the lockdown, here's some of their advice... I started wild swimming in the first lockdown and have managed to keep it up, going in the river or the sea at least every weekend since then. It is really cold at the moment, especially in the river, but I promise you feel amazing afterwards, Ms Hinchcliffe Page 15 Below : Running has helpedme keep positive throughout lockdown. I'm out at 5:30/6 every day and have so far logged 317 miles in 2021! My children are also completing a 'mile a day' challenge throughout February - which is a great way of encouraging them to do some daily exercise and get some fresh air. Here she is on one of her favourite machines: a 1952 MC crawler with a vertical 2 cylinder engine* in original condition. *Mrs Perkins reliably informs us that John Deere did not fit a four cylinder engine until the late fifties!
