KEVICC Courier Winter 2021 Lockdown

Our Wellbeing We asked our staff to let us know how they've been looking after their physical andmental health during the lockdown, running seems to feature strongly! During the weekend of 29th-31st January, KEVICC Staff braved the rain and wind and participated in a virtual 5k running event, competing against schools from all over the UK. Out of 144 runners and 21 schools, KEVICC placed 5th!! We were very close to the top spots! 1. Northampton School for Boys - Total Time 1:59:56 2. Kingsbridge CC - 2:09:35 3. Paignton CC - 2:12:39 4. West Buckland - 2:21:30 5. KEVICC - 2:23:47 Well done to the following staff for participating to make up our team: Liam Collings, Alan Salt, Carly Collings, Sarah McInally, Brigitte Taverna, Debbie Burman, Emma Townend and Stuart Ruffle. The next one is scheduled for 26th-28th February so maybe if we actually train for it this time round we could be looking at a podium finish!
