Courier Summer 2021

PE Year 13 PE Class of 2021 Our Year 13 A level PE and Cambridge Technical Sport students had an end of course treat to reward them for outstanding commitment and effort to their studies at Kennicott as they worked hard to achieve their potential through many challenges over the past 2 years...A session of Bubble Football, where the priority is to knock each other over as many times as you can whilst at the same time, trying to play a Football game. The session was attended by both our Year 12 and 13 students on PE and Sport courses at Kennicott. As you can see from the pictures, it was enormous fun and very tiring! The session began with a game of last person standing and, in the end, it was a Year 13 student who was triumphant! We then moved into a Year 12, with me as an honorary member, against Year 13 Football game where there were a few goals scored but, in the end, it was the bubbles and the knock downs that succeeded the flair of the Football skills. Finally, ExeBubble who ran the session for us, decided that a roly-poly relay race was in order; so, Year 12 against Year 13 with just one bubble each. We had to take it in turns to roly-poly down the sports hall and back with the assistance of two teammates and be the first team to make it back! In the end it was great fun, but oh did we pay the price for it over the next few days with some aches and pains! So much fun and a well-deserved treat for our hard-working students. Good luck and best wishes to all who are leaving Kennicott at the end of this year. Carly Perring Kasey Collings' Photography Page 29
