Staff Professional Learning Evidence-led teaching The MFL department has been following studies on cognitive science research lead by B. Rosenshine (2012) and latest approaches on language learning lead by G. Conti (2020) in order to support KEVICC languages students improve their written production skills. In order to do so, students have been encouraged to produce extended pieces of writing supported by sentence builders developed by MFL teachers at KEVICC. We have had some amazing results and students felt really confident writing in French and Spanish. Here we have a few examples of some exemplary work produced by our students in years 7, 8 and 9.
