Page 16 Wild Wise Our students spent two days in the Glade at Dartington with Wild Wise in September. Using bushcraft activities, the focus of the learning was on building community, resilience and confidence. We believe that opportunities to learn outdoors are important within our broad and balanced curriculum. Days spent like this in the South Hams countryside, or indeed in our very own Peace Garden, enrich our students' learning and experience enormously... The students spent a lot of time exploring in the woods around the Glade. They played a game of Camouflage and lit fires to boil water for hot drinks. It was a great day and the students were engaged throughout in a spectacular, local environment - amazingly only 10 minutes from the College! Laura Siska, Head of Year 8
