June saw the return of Sports Celebration afternoon on Redworth Field. Over 200 students were invited to the event after showing excellent behaviour, attitude and effort across PE lessons and extra-curricular clubs. Mass volleyball was popular, particularly amongst the Year 8. The inflatable sweeper and assault course made a return, with many a dramatic wipe-out happening. Archery tag gave pupils the rare opportunity to fire projectiles at one another, with all safety precautions taken. The big hit of the day, quite literally in some instances, was bubble football.
