KEVICC Courier Winter 2022

In November, Mr Quick and Miss Perring took a group of 13 students between Years 7 and 10 to watch a rugby Autumn International at Twickenham. Our seats were just four rows back from the pitch which provided us with a great view of one of the try lines and meant we were close enough to hear the contact of tackles and scrums taking place in front of us! We could also see just how big some of the best players in the world are! We arrived in time to see some of the pre-match warm up activities that both teams engaged in and at half time watched the pitch being maintained with meticulous detail by the grounds staff. Both teams were challenged with the weather as it rained pretty much up until KO time, however the sun came out for the majority of the game allowing us to thoroughly enjoy and appreciate the level of skill of these players.
