KEVICC Courier Winter 2022

Page 3 This term we have welcomed our brilliant new Year 7 students into the college. We have been so impressed by their kindness , their attitudes and their focus in classes. We caught up with a number of our Year 7 students personally and spoke to them about their start with us at KEVICC. We spoke about making friends, feeling at home, their teachers, learning in class and the jump from primary. Here is some of their reflections... I have found coming to KEVICC a really nice change from my primary school. I went to the Grove. I am glad to have come with some friends, but the school is very friendly. My favourite lessons so far are English and PE, I love having individual teachers for seperate subjects. Lottie, Year 7 student from The Grove i I really like the food! It’s been a fun start here. Zoe, Year 7 student from The Grove I came from Stoke Gabriel Primary School. My start here has been not as scary as I thought it would be. I have found my first lessons great, I have found the teachers here really approachable and friendly. I would say I am very happy and like it here, I am glad I came. Carter, Year 7 student from Stoke Gabriel Primary Wonderful Year 7
