Some of our lucky year 7 and
8 students are having the
opportunity to write letters to their
new Spanish friends fromValencia.
We have recently received letters
from Spain and we are starting to
write our responses in Spanish. We
hope we can send them soon and
we are looking forward to hearing
back from them very soon.

I enjoy doing the pen pal letters because it helps us
learn more Spanish but we are doing it with a real
person which is fun. I think it is good experience for our
Spanish friends too to write to us in English so they can
practice their skills as well. I hope we could meet up
with them one day!

At the end of the autumn term the
students below received a certificate
and a prize in recognition of their
outstanding effort and achievement
in their Modern Foreign Languages
lessons.
Students were selected from all year
groups and one student, Jonathan
Gresty, was chosen for taking GCSE
Italian early!!
We look forward to seeing more of our
talented linguists in the spring term!!
