This year’s exhibits celebrated the work of young student designers from a
diverse range of ages. The week-long event showcased the work of partner
schools including Bidwell Brook and Diptford Primary School, Fab Lab Totnes
and King Edward VI students fromYears 7 to 13. The diversity of the products
exhibited exemplifies the highly personal solutions students formulate
in response to personal, social, moral and commercial opportunities. The
prototypes presented also illustrates the department's desire to encourage
students to blend traditional and emerging technologies as appropriate
and to ensure that the central idea drives development forward.
